On May 8th, Seoyon Ehwa became the grand prize winner of the 1st Midsize Company Award ceremony held jointly by AHPEK and MOTIE at the Lotte Hotel, Sogong-dong.

 

 This event is designed to encourage midsized company who has excellent performances in various fields such as technological innovation and social contribution in our economy. The awards include longevity companies, social contribution, job creation, technology Innovation, and overseas advancement.

 

Since its establishment in 1972, Seoyon Ehwa has grown into a global auto parts company. With advanced technology and foreign investment, Seoyon Ehwa has been a hidden champion and those result leads Seoyon Ehwa to the grand prize of the 1st midsized company of the Year in overseas advancement divisiton.

 

On this day, Minister Joo, Hyung-hwan encouraged the companies that received the award through encouragement to become exemplary cases and to be the primaries of cultivating the junior middle-class companies and emphasized the midsized companies should be encouraged to invest in research and development (R & D), investment increase to be leading 4th industrial revolution.

 

The chairman of AHPEK, Kang, Ho-gab had a speech that even though midsized company is only 0.1% of the total companies in Korea, it accounts for about 6% in the employment and 17% in the saels. It is a company like the treasure of the Korean economy. "Based on the case of award-winning companies, our Korean medium-sized companies will like Korea's Hidden Champion and support the Korean economy in the era of the fourth industrial revolution."

 

Awarded companies will receive preferential benefits, such as receiving maximum benefits when they participate in five industries in the industry and small and medium-sized enterprises.
