During the 2015 academic symposium of the Korean Society of Automotive Engineers held in Gyeongju from November 18 to 21, Seoyon received a plaque of appreciation for its contribution to the establishment of the
Seoyeon Academic Award. Seoyeon Group has established the Seoyeon Academic Award for the Korean Society of Automotive Engineers and decided to sponsor 10 million Won every year in order contribute towards
the advancement of the automobile industry through the cultivation of competent personnel.

The Seoyeon Academic Award is awarded along with the prize of 5 million Won each to a total of 2 recipients composed of 1 person from the academic/research sector and 1 from the industrial sector by screening and selecting outstanding theses among those published by the Korean Society of Automotive Engineers. The ceremony for the 1st Seoyeon Academic Award is scheduled for May 19, 2016 and those interested in participating in the event can apply for the examination of their theses through the website of the Korean Society of Automotive Engineers(http://kpr.ksae.org/).
