On July 15 (Friday), Seoyon E-Hwa labor and management held their third social contribution project, "with Corona with Companion Plants” together with local volunteer organization.

 Due to the prolonged Covid-19 pandemic that has been going on for several years, communication in society is less than it used to be, and the elderly living alone who are especially vulnerable to infection face severe social isolation because it is difficult to go outside.

 In light of this, Seoyon E-labor Hwa's labor and management have planned an event to produce and distribute companion plants so that elderly people living alone can find emotional stability, such as psychological comfort and relief from loneliness.      

As a companion plant for the elderly, we have prepared Philodendron Birkin with striped white leaves. The seedlings are hand-picked in the morning, their roots are trimmed, and they are then transplanted into pots with care for long-term growth. Philodendron Birkin is beneficial for air purification and humidity control, making it an ideal companion plant for senior citizens.

Additionally, snacks that the elderly will enjoy are purchased and packaged in person, and the snacks are delivered along with the companion plants.

We hope that the companion plants prepared by the labor and management of Seoyon E-Hwa will be long-lasting friends to the elderly, and Seoyon E-Hwa will continue to generously assist disadvantaged people in the region.
