Our senior research engineer Kim Chul-woo of the Advanced Material Development Team received the 98th IR52 Jang Young-sil Award on May 31 (Tuesday).

The award-winning product is a lightweight door trim item for automobile interiors made for the first time in the world with bamboo fiber reinforced composite resin, and it is being used as an injection material in our MQ4 door trim (upper, center).

The awards ceremony is set for August and will recognize Hyundai Motor Company and Hanyang Material as joint developers.

This developed product is a technology that can actively respond to changes in social and environmental issues; thus, it is expected to contribute to the transformation of Seoyon E-Hwa’s image as an eco-friendly corporation.
