Seoyon E-Hwa donated 6 million won to the Buk-gu Volunteer Center in Ulsan Metropolitan City on May 11 (Wednesday) and signed an agreement for cooperating in social contribution initiatives to encourage volunteer work in Buk-gu, Ulsan, and to enhance the welfare of the disadvantaged in the local community.
Key labor and management officials, such as Head of Ulsan Plant, Sangwoon Shin, and Branch President of Seoyon E-Hwa, Youngseok Lee, as well as representatives of local volunteer organizations such as the Buk-gu Volunteer Center and Buk-gu Residents' Volunteer Association, attended the signing ceremony and discussed ways to activate future volunteer work for the underprivileged in the region.
Seoyon E-Hwa labor and management will use donations as a financial resource in the future to collaborate with the Buk-gu Volunteer Center and local volunteer organizations to carry out various sharing programs such as "delivery of filial duty packages" to pray for the health and happiness of the elderly, "delivery of companion plants" to promote emotional stability and positive life by growing plants, and "seasonal kimchi-making” to share the love with people of the low-income community.
